Summary: Excellent Gift For a Man who wants an Electric Shaver
Comment: I purchased this product for my boyfriend for Christmas. He absolutely loves it. There is one thing that is different and that is the light on the shaver is very bright. So bright, we keep the bathroom door shut otherwise we would get no sleep.

Summary: Comparing old to new
Comment: I have a Braun 5760 and after three bases going bad(defective lock), I decided to upgrade even though I was very satisfied with the 5760 shaver itsself.
There is a tremendous difference between the two. The shaver is very quite. It is smoother, closer and very comfortable.
The base, with its cleaning and automation on it including the shaver is very impressive and useful. My first thought was this is rather expensive, but after receiving and using it, it is well worth the money, Top of the line product and no lock to go bad!!

Comment: My previous razor was a braun (8595?) so I was excited to see an "upgraded" razor from Braun come out. Price was steep but found a good deal on Amazon. Initial response was lukewarm because it felt "less durable" then my previous razor. . . but performance is excellent. Definitely gives a real close shave without the skit irritation / hassle of using a razor/foam. Only time will tell if the construction of this razor will hold up. Still have my "older" braun but don't plan to use it unless absolutely necessary!!

Comment: This item said that it gave a close shave and is supposed to be one of the best out there. My fiance tried it for 2-3 weeks like the box suggests but he still does not get a close shave. Very disappointed.

Summary: Return of the Braun
Comment: I bought this as a gift for my husband for Christmas. He has been shaving with a razor forever and decided to try an electric razor. This seemed the best product with the best reviews out there. He tried it twice and both times it would give a close shave in some patches but most spots(the neck) there was still stubble. He was disappointed that it was not as close a shave as using a razor. He wanted to return the product and just continue using his regular razor. We contacted Amazon and they said we couldn't return it because it had been used at least once, well, this was a 200$ product so we then had to go and sell it on Ebay to get back some of our money.
Needless to say this was an expensive try at shaving with an electric shaver.
