Summary: Price went up $15 in 2 days!
Comment: On Friday 12/05/08 the price was $27.24. On Sunday when I checked again, it had shot up to $44.00!!
Was going to put this on my wish list for a xmas gift. Now so overpriced its not worth it. Not sure if this is a reflection on Amazon and their new policies. With all the bailouts you would think that prices would be going down or stay within reason, not get overpriced. Thumbs way down and no purchase.

Summary: Excellent thermos
Comment: I bought this thermos so I would have something that would keep my tea hot while I drank it at work. This thing is amazing. I had made my tea and put it in the container (priming it with hot water first for about 15 seconds before putting the tea in) and brought it to work. I was so busy at work that I forgot about it and towards the end of my day, I pulled it out expecting maybe lukewarm tea, but it was still steaming hot about 20 hours later. Excellent product!

Comment: I gave this puppy a test run the firat day i owned it. At 8pm I made a full kettle of hot tea, depositing most of it into the Thermos. I drank it throughout the next day, and at 5pm it was still sufficiently hot I had to sip it. Virtually no loss in heat whasoever. I have yet to try it for cold liquids, but that is not what I bought it for. I opened it five or six times across the 21-hour period over which it held the tea, and this did not cause any issue with heat retention. Great product, best thermos I have ever had. Goes particularly well with the Thermos Nissan 12oz. travel tea mug I bought. These guys really know their stuff.

Comment: I originally bought this thermos to bring protein shakes to work. The thermos did keeps the shakes really cold for hours but the smoothie would separate very quickly and would lose flavor (not the fault of the thermos). So now I pretty much use it for milk, which it does keep cold all day. Thermos seals very well, so well, it's often hard for me to unscrew the cap because of the suction ( I have to enlist the help of a coworker), but this does prevent leaks. It is hard to clean inside though without a bottle brush. The milk gets stuck on the bottom and it's hard to get inside there. I guess rinsing the thermos soon after use would prevent this. The thermos is very sturdy and attractive. It was a great purchase for an even better price.

Comment: This thermal bottles keeps the water HOT after 12 hours. It is still warm after almost 2 days. 34 oz is not big enough for me, but the size of the bottle is good.
