Summary: Great quality for the price, but fit is a bit loose on a youth
Comment: Based on the previous reviews, I purchased this set of pads for my 9 year old son to use with his new scooter. I am happy overall with my purchase and feel that it is a great price and quality product. I did ask my son for his thoughts and he said to rate 4 stars instead of 5. When I asked why, he says that both the elbow and knee pads slide a bit and need to be readjusted frequently. I'm hoping after another growth spurt, this won't be a problem. Otherwise, he is happy with these pads and likes the added comfort from the gel.

Comment: The knee pads were a bit big. They recommended it with the youth helmet, which I guess they are, however, we won't be able to use them until hopefully next year. Great deal and I like the gel inside.

Comment: These protective pads work perfectly on my six year old when he rides his scooter. They are easy to put on and take off, although he hasn't quite mastered putting them on, on his own. They definitely provide the necessary protection and have helped to avoid many scrapes and bruises. Most importantly, after two months of frequent use, the velcro shows no sign of losing its adhesiveness.
